UGH!

So it decided to rain today. My window in the car is stuck in a down position (not all the way down just down enough to to get my seat soaked) so after going to the post office that "isn't a passport office" I had to go to the repair shop. So I get there around 11 and don't get home till about 1. This of course is without my car. I'm told that it will be ready about 4. Its now 5:19 and when I called my car won't be ready till about 6. Awesome! NOT! I have class at 5:30 so naturally I cant go because well I don't have a car for one and for two even if I had a ride the shop closes before school is over sooooo that doesn't work either. Oh and mind you I'm down $250.00 I need cough meds for Derek and I still haven't made it to the passport office. At least on the bright side I've gotten all the stuff priced for cash in the nursery & have sort of cleaned my living room. All in all its been a great day. HAHA yeah right! Oh and btw my husband's unit is out of control. They are killing me right now with their assumptions and drama!!

Good-Byes SUCK

I hate saying goodbye to my husband. I hate it even more when its less than 4 month since my husband got home. I hate being away from him. We had problems and things were just starting to get better. I want him home for a long peirod of time. I want to just be with him. I miss him already and he hasnt been gone 24 hours. I hate the fact that the next time I will get to be with him is July. I know that I have to just deal with it (which BTW I'm good at) but I hate dealing! I would like to know what its like to really be married. You know where you're with your spouse consecutivly for a whole year and every night they come home. I've been with Ryan for going on 5 years and have NEVER known what its like to be with him all the time. I've been married for going on 3 years and have never spent a full year with him due to TDY's or deployments. I just want to know what it feels like to be married full time (when I say full time I mean together all the time) I hate being alone all the time. I love you Ryan just come home!

Not Excited

I am not excited at all about tommorow. I hate the fact that not even 4 months after he got home he has to leave again for another 4.5 month deployment. This is crap!! I hate the fact that my husband is leaving AGAIN! I love being with him and less than 4 months isn't enough time to spend together. I'll be so glad when this deployment is over!! I can't wait for him to be home and he isn't even gone yet. The best part is we will be 100% debt free when he gets back. If all goes according to plan we will be getting a new car and going on our first cruise as a family. Im very excited about that. I guess I need to look at the outcome of this deployment isn't of the crappy part. Hopefully God willing we will get orders out of here in October!!

Working Out and So much more!

I bought a Wii today. I also purchases Wii Active. I didn't realize how out of shape I really was until today. I did the "low intensity" work out and by the end of the 20 minutes I was spent LOL. I did really well though and burned 70 calories which Im sure wasn't enough to work off that rice crispy treat I had before but whatever. Im going to eat better & work out a lot more so that I can look slammin. I've been tanning to add some color to my life which is exciting so working out & tanning should do a number for me. I'm wanting to get Wii fit & Wii fit plus but I have to find the Wii Fit before I can do anything else. Hopefully I'll find it at gamestop or something.

Went to the doctor today for my follow-up appt. She said my heartrate is fast but it slows down so she doesn't know why its high at times but everything looks good. I then told her that my back has been killing me much more so than usual. She took one look at my back and said yah you need to see somebody you made my back hurt just from looking at that. She said that a 30 degree curve is a signifant curve and doesn't understand why I haven't been refered to a scolsis specialist. Tommorw Im going for my x-rays and hopefully by the beginning of next month I'll be in with my orthepedic surgeun to find out the best course of action. Surgery is DEFINITLY my LAST option.

Derek has a doctors appt on Monday. He might have pica which isn't a good thing. I really did think that all kids ate dirt but apparently that isn't true. He has to have a lead screening done as well as an iron screening so for the first time my itty bitty is going to have to get blood drawn and honestly I don't know how I'm going to handle that. I am a huge puss when I have to get my own blood taken so how can I watch them do it to my son! I can't even hold him when he gets his shots due to my anxiety about shots. Its really bad my fear of needles. Yeah I can get tats but that is a whole different feeling. I guess Im just a vagina LOL. I just hope he doesn't have lead poisoning or anything. Maybe its just an iron deficiency. Fingers crossed

Good news my dining room is 95% complete. Just waitin on my nick nacks so I can post up pics.

I hate the cold

Today it was cold all day long! I hate cold weather & I hate being cold in general. Even my house was cold!! I can't wait for it to be warmer weather. Too bad that groundhog predicts 6 more weeks of winter. Maybe I can go to bartending class tommorow and be freezing so bad that my damn toes are numb. That would be awesome!

I'm very tired. This going to bed late and waking up early crap is really wearing me down. Tommorow I got another full day of school and then bartending class till 9. So basically I have school from 1 to 4 then 530 to 930. I hate Tuesdays. Good thing bartending class is over next week & I won't have that on my plate.It is going to be super awesome though to have my bartending certificate. Maybe during the summer I'll get a job or something. Who knows.

I finally got my table runner in! I was super excited about that. Now all I need is my table cloth and my dining room is one step closer to being complete. I (ok Kaye) found this amazing trash recprical storage container so I am thinking that I am going to purchase that move Derek's feeding supplies to under the microwave cart move Derek's old feeding supplies cabinet somewhere else and the put the rubbish container there. It has storage so its kind of a win win as seeing how right now I don't have anywhere to put my trash cans. We shall see though. I just really want my dining room to be done!!

We started looking at houses for rent again! I am thinking that its going to be the best option for us as seeing how we are here for an undetermined length of time and we are just really not feeling this super small house anymore. We are getting a king sized bed and honestly it isn't going to fit in our bedroom but of course we want a king and don't want to waste money buying a queen when we will end up with the king anyway. Its just a waste of money. Plus the you could say the security deposit is a "savings account" we've always gotten ours back so I'm not to worried about it. I'd love to find something with hardwood floors especially with a toddler.

Pimps & Hoes

Last night was super fun! While it was super cold outside I still sucked it up and dressed up in my skimpies and took it to the club! My outfit was super cute & I feel that I made a good choice! Ryan looked hot in his pimp outfit!  I got my drank on and apparently because "that girl" but I don't really give a shit so it doesn't matter. I'll probably never see these people again so what does it matter. I'm entitled to a little fun & fun I shall have!! I want to go to more theme parties so I think im going to check out what other clubs are doin too! I can't wait for my birthday because that is going to be off the chain!! Rachael will be here Rhiannon got us a limo and my girls will be looking fine!! Im excited as hell!! I can't wait to go shopping for my outfit!

On other notes we are getting a new bed thank God! We are considering a temperpedic but rumor has it that its hot and I don't like to be hot when I sleep. I'm going to shop around and see what else I can find. Hopefully I can get some good deals and get the best mattress for my back!

I've been looking at houses to rent. No matter how much work I do in this house it doesn't change the fact that this house is way to small. Its sad when you don't even have room in your kitchen for your trash cans. I just can't do it anymore plus you can get some nice houses around here for $900 and have the rest of the BAH for utlities. Living off base isn't all that bad but of course somebody will always have something to say about it because well they don't have to live in this mess.

It's Late

Went to a candle party today! It was awesome!! I didn't realize that canyon gold were that awesome of candles until today! I won a free candle, some sort of brownie thing, and my entire downstairs is radiating with the smell of fresh baked brownies. I also bought a piller candle to go in my black thing in my dining room and a pear juice candle for upstairs! I really enjoy the candles so I think I'm going to host a party soon. I know this post is lame but it's late and I got a lot to do tommorow HAHA

OMG what a day!

I feel like this has been the longest day ever! I did get some things accomplished which is good news. Criminology work is done! I found a court case about Betty Broderick and its perfect for all the topics for the paper. She's crazy and honestly a bit obsessive! I mean I could understand being pissed off but holding a grudge for 5 years... IDK seems obsessive to me!! Either way this case is perfect for all my writing assignments which is one less stress in my life. I also took my quiz and this one was by far my worst! I only got a 73 (22/30) and normally I've been getting 96's (26/30) so hopefully I can bump back up and recover from that horrible grade.
Tommorow is working on Understanding Relationships. Its actually super easy (as is most sociology courses) so I plan on taking as many sociology courses as I can for my major related & elective courses. Again one less stressor in my life. My judicial process class doesn't have much work but she does do pop quizzes which I missed the first one but hopefully everyone did bad so she drops it LOL. Who gives pop quizzes in the middle of class anyway!! Moral issues is a stupid class and its boring as hell but what can ya do. Its required. That class is probably going to be my biggest stressor because we have to do some ridiculous internet project with people from scotland & england. It just seems like its going to be horribly complicated.
I went shopping again for my kitchen (again) Im almost done for real this time! All I need is my table cloth & runner as well as my lazy susan and its complete!! Im beyond thrilled!! Next step will be the actual kitchen but that doesn't need all that much. Then we will move on from there. Here is a list of rooms that are to be made over.
Playroom: I'd like to get some more storage that is space efficient and a new little table thing for him. I also want to put a cars mural or something on the blank wall. I'll also update more of the photos in his playroom so he can see pictures of mommy & daddy
Living room: I want a sectional! I want the one that has the lounger type thing on the end or maybe the one that has 2 recliners & a middle part to hold drinks. Im going to take a good look especially since Derek has destroyed these couches.
Atrium, Laundry, and Hallway: Im going to update the pictures in the hallway, probably use my old microwave cart in the atrium as a desk because its skinnier... of course its taller but IDK if matters. The laundry room I want a drying rack
Upstairs Hallway: I just want it clean LOL
Upstairs Bathroom: I want to do greens! That is the main bathroom so I am going to find only the best!! Make it a peaceful place
Our bedroom: I want a black & something look. Black & Red is in the kitchen so I want to do something like Black & Blue or go dramatic and get Black & Yellow IDK but I want it to be dramatic in there. Im getting black furnature soooo we will go from there.
Of course its going to take time but its time & money well spent to make a house a home.

Bartending Class Day 2 & Stupid Drama from Stupid People

So today was the second day of bartending class and I have to say that its a lot easier than I thought. I sat at the bar and watched intensely as they poured an ounce thinking "crap can I do this?" Well the time comes and we get to take a stab at it. Im sitting between two males. So I take the bottle count to four and make sure that my ounce is where is should be. Im like ok that was lucky so I do it again and again and again each time accurately pouring one ounce. Great ok so let me switch hands. Again I do it again and again getting the same result each time. Meanwhile these two guys that Im sitting next too are making one hell of a mess. Im thinking well maybe Im not doing it right because it doesn't look like it should be this easy. So I stand there and say hey tell me if Im doing this right. I get yeah I counted to 4. I was like hmm am I going to slow? No. Ok so why am I not making a mess? I was then told its good that you're not making a mess because split liquor is stolen liquor or something like that. Awesome so I really feel I need to do something more challenging. I think I'm gonna try 1/2 ounces and 1/4 ounces. I do think bartending is my calling. Lets see how it goes when I have to learn drinks. Im sure the hard part is yet to come!!

On a side note I had a bit of drama today. I apparently am "unsympathetic" to someone who is 35 weeks pregnant because Im sorry but you chose to get pregnant you know. I don't feel sorry for someone who is pregnant especially when the reason you're so miserable is on you. I feel strongly that 35 weeks is too early to have a baby but apparently because the terrible hospital this female is being seen at said that if you go into labor at 34 weeks they don't try to stop it she's under some horrible misconception that 34 weeks is full term. All the "tricks" aren't working. No shit they aren't working your freakin 35 weeks pregnant. I would honestly hate to beg for attention and have people feel sorry for me. News flash nobody feels bad for you that your pregnant. Millions of women are pregnant right now you arent special. Im sure people feel sorry for you... but it isn't because you're pregnant I promise you that!! You made your bed now you sleep in it. Stop being a drama queen and suck it up!

Another great side note is Ryan put together my kitchen cart and the dining room is almost complete!!! Just waiting on the table cloth & runner as well as the other dining room table accessories. Once I finish that I'll finish up the small details for the kitchen and move on from there!!

Bartending

I decided to take a bartending class. It was cheap so why not right? I'd love to get a job @ a chili's or something along those lines. Im not looking for a full time gig just something sometimes to make a little bit extra. I've always been a member of a service arena but I've always waited tables & hostessing but I'd like to expand my horizens into bartending.  It look like it could be fun! Meeting new people is always fun and when you mix alcohol you'll have just a great time! It would be fun to go to work and enjoy myself. I don't know if i'll use my new found skills right away but at least I'll have them!

Target Vs. Walmart

Target always the the cutiest stuff from baby clothes to home decor however as we all know Target is a lot more expensive then say walmart. Well for once I've found something at Target that was cheaper than it was at walmart. I bought my new kitchen cart!! Its beautiful solid wood and the perfect size! It has the double doors at the bottom which I can lock with a child safety cabinet lock (yay) and it has a drawer that I can pull out (yay a new junk drawer) I've already bought my new microwave but I got to wait till I get my kitchen cart!! I can't wait to complete this kitchen and the best news is its almost done!! Im hoping by the end of the month to have pulled this dining room off then I can start with the kitchen. The kitchen doesn't need much but it definitly NEEDS! I am looking for more things at walmart but Target is definitly on my list to shop!!

Oops I skipped a day

I went out last night with my friends so naturally since I was busy I didn't have time to blog about what was/is on my mind. I'm still working on that kitchen/dining room of mine. I'm looking for my kitchen cart which will be one of the last steps to have it completed. Ryan is suppose to hang up my wall art so I'm thrilled about that! I've decided that I really do like big lots and they have some awesome items. I need to find the stuff for my dinner table such as a napkin holder & salt shakers but other than that I'm just about finished!! YAY! I'm doing some final touches to Derek's room and of course one I'm done I'll post up pictures. Slowly but surely this house will come together. Even if we decided to move we could still apply the same things in our new house. Lets see how this turns out :)

Oh BTW I love tanning!! Its the most relaxing 8 to 10 minutes of my day haha! I'm also hoping to get a wii/wii fit and start working out and having fun while doing it. We shall see how all this plays out as well haha.

The Girlies

I have some of the greatest friends here in Florida. It sucks that it took me just about 2 years to meet them but I am VERY happy that I have these people in my life. I learned very quickly that its important to have a good support system especially when you're husband is gone all the time. I love going out with my girls & I love talking to them whenever I can. They are truely the greatest people I've met thus far.
I miss Rachael. She's the wifey. I want her to come back to Florida already so we can hang out like we use to. I hate that she's hundreds of miles away! Shes missed a lot!!
I miss Christina too! Although I didn't spend much time with her the time I did spend with her was awesome!! I will see her again soon because I have to go to Dallas again lol.
I don't want Lusett to leave. She's amazing and it would really suck to have a third friend leave. I don't make friends for quantity I make friends for quality and the more that keep leaving the smaller & smaller my number becomes.
Leah is my passion party consultant and one of the most open people I've ever met! I don't have to be shy about what I say around her because she's a dirty talker just like myself! She's a very loyal friend and HATES drama which is great because I know that I'll never have any drama with her lol! I love having true friends and she is definitly true.
Rhiannon is funny! She's fun to be around and fun to talk to. I love her accent so much!! She's one of those non-military affilated friends so shes probably not going anywhere for a very long time. She loves to go out dancing which is great because I love to dance too!!
I have some other friends too around here that are just as awesome we just don't hang out as often as we should! Im hoping to change that and make a point to hang out more often!! I'm thankful for the friends I have here because without them I'd still hate this place so much!!

Seriously He's Freakin 2

I want to go home in March. My husband is getting deployed again and I hate being in Florida by myself. I of course don't want to drive to Texas because that is a 12 hour drive and honestly I can't stand it. Plus I don't have that kind of patience or motivation. I've been looking for a plane ticket to fly home. Derek is 2 years old. He's freakin 2! First I don't think that he should cost the same amount as an adult ticket and Second he's still small enough to fly on my lap! What gets me is he's being charged full price and every time we've flown there have been so many open seats that he's always sat in one. With that many open seats, the ridicoulus charge for bags, and all the other drama airlines put you through it would be nice if they could reduce the price for my freakin 2 year old! He's TWO! He's not taking advantage of the complementry peanut & beverage service, he's not going to use the toilet so does he really need to be full price? I think this is crazy! I do think that my dream of going home is going to be short lived because I really don't think I can justify spending $500 dollars to go home when I see my family all the time! IDK we shall see!!

Lets get started

Lately what has been on my mind is getting serious about decorating this house. I've lived here for over 2 years and the only room I've managed to complete is the half bathroom. The half bathroom is beautiful. Its blue & brown with matching coordinates... its great! However the rest of the house is dull, boring, and of course super small. My current project is my kitchen/dining room. Thus far I've managed to find at the very least the theme I am applying to the small area. I'm going with a red and black theme. I got some gorgous red curtains and I found a black table cloth on ebay. I'm also bidding on a red table runner. I've been looking at some items from target for the table so its just a matter of purchasing the items. I'm also going to get serious about that kitchen of mine too. I need a new microwave and I've been saying that for the past year. I keep saying for Christmas I'll get one, for my birthday I'll get one but this year I am getting my microwave!! I'm also hoping to figure out a way to get more space in that kitchen by moving some things around. Hopefully I can work this out because its small in there which is a part of the reason I hate this house. I am going to finish this kitchen/dining room by the middle of next month and as soon as I do you can best believe I'll be posting up the pictures! Well I think thats it for me tonight. I know how boring... starting off with what I want to decorate my kitchen but hey that is what is on my mind and has been on my mind for a good while LOL. Well see you tommorow!
